I added fields to my basic contact database. The letter templates work well except that my new fields don't show up. After the addition I rebuilt from scratch. The new fields have scripts from Scriptmaker because they need to be variable ie son or daughter, he or she.

I'm not sure what you mean about the fields having "scripts from Scriptmaker"--you may have to tell me more about that--but in general any fields in tables connected to fmSpark on the graph will show up as possible merge fields provided they don't begin with an underscore.
