Is there some way to click a button in filemaker to jump to an iCal record or click a link in an iCal record and jump to the corresponding filemaker record?

In the later case, I would want to click the link in the ical record and open up the person record for which the appointment is assigned.

Maybe using a snap shot link attached to the appointment?

From filemaker to iCal would I have to use applescript? or is there another way?

I think there is an issue with snapshot link if I remember correctly.

If you are using Leopard (10.5.x) then a snapshot link in the URL will take you from iCal to the correct FileMaker record, unfortunately iCal in Snow Leopard treats file references in iCal differently.
