Good Morning,

I am using an older version of SeedCode Complete (purchased 12/2008). I would like to upgrade my filemaker to version 11. Will this work with the older version of SeedCode Complete? What kind of issues will I be looking at?

Hi Shelly,

Your file should run just fine, though you'll notice the status toolbar is no longer on the left side of the screen: FileMaker moved it to the top.

You'll also want to change the version test in our Upon Opening script before you open it in 11. Notes on how to do that, and some general compatibility notes can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2559

As with any upgrade, you should test the solution out in 11 before you move everyone over. You can grab a trial version of 11 at http://www.filemakertrial.com

And of course we have a new version of Complete that takes advantage of much of the new stuff in 11, if you're interested in upgrading. =)
